Number of babies born from donor sperm triples in last decade

This article claims the total number of babies born using sperm donors was 900 in 2006 and 2800 in 2019. Judging from the numbers of babies made in the Black Sperm Donor Group alone in the last year, I would estimate their numbers are way off. It's very likely they are only counting babies conceived using sperm banks and ignoring those conceived using private donors.
